Following a successful tender process, FWB has been appointed as an executive recruitment supplier to NHS Lothian (and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde). As the number one ranked supplier, FWB will be supporting NHS Lothian to identify and attract high quality executive level candidates.
NHS Lothian is one of the largest and most complex health economies in the UK, with 29,000 staff and a £1.4billion revenue budget serving over 800,000 people in and around Edinburgh and the Lothians. They are aiming to be at the level of Scotland's best and in the top 25 large healthcare organisations in the world. They are currently implementing a strategic change programme across services involving circa £350 million capital and £600+ million revenue which includes the re-provision of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children and have recently entered into a partnership to deliver a landmark life science real estate development known as the Edinburgh BioQuarter. This will place Edinburgh in the world's top ten centres for biomedical science and research and deliver real benefits to patients.
NHS Lothian is responsible for the planning, commissioning and delivery of primary, secondary, tertiary and national services. Leading teaching hospitals include the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh and St John's Hospital, Livingston. Specialist services are also provided to Scotland as a whole. Primary Care services are provided across NHS Lothian. We also have strong links with our four local authority partners as well as our higher educational institutions.
