Ian Percy
Professor Ian Percy was formerly Senior Partner with accountants Grant
Thornton, President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of
Scotland and Chairman of The Accounts Commission for Scotland.
Until recently he was also Chairman of Kiln Plc. Current appointments
include being Chairman of Companies House and is a senior non-executive
director of The Weir Group Plc, Ricardo Plc and Cala Group Limited.
Ian is also a member of the Legal Aid Board for Scotland and a
consultant on Auditing and Corporate Governance. He is a member of the
Treasury and DTI Coordinating Committee on Accounting and Auditing
issues. Ian also represented the UK on the International Auditing
Practices Committee 1995 - 2000.
Ian was awarded the CBE for services to the accountancy profession and
Local Government in 1996. He is an Honorary Professor of Accounting and
Doctor of Laws at Aberdeen University.

Bill McCall
Bill McCall (45) is Principal of McCall & Partners,a strategic corporate finance advisory business and is also Chairman of securities firm McCall, Aitken, McKenzie & Co, a niche relationship investment bank.
Bill was elected an Individual Member of the London Stock Exchange in 1990, is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland, a Chartered Banker, a Fellow of the Securities Institute, and is a regulated person by the UK FSA. He was previously a columnist for Scotland on Sunday, and presented ‘Daybreak' for BBC Scotland.
He has also acted as Chair of start up and early stage companies, using the same skill set. He was Chairman of Craneware from 2001-2006. He was also Chairman of Peopledoc (14 months), sold to Hummingbird, a NASDAQ listed company, Careshare (10 months), sold to the UK's largest childcare provider, Spektra (22 months), which sold IP to Vebnet a quoted Scottish based business, and a Director of RGIT Montrose (10 months), which was an LBO and then sold to Petrofac Limited in 2004. He advised on the sale of Labtech Services and its associated property company and negotiated the exit of an institutional shareholder from Giraffe, a Dublin based childcare business. He was a very short term Director of PPL Therapeutics plc.
In 2006 he aided the disposal of FST for 3i and assisted in exiting 3i from Keydata Holdings and Anisa Limited a software business. He worked alongside two Private Equity houses to aid growth capital returns from Oslo based RxT ASA, exiting one completely, through two subsequent private placements and listing on the secondary OTC. In December 2006, as Chairman, he helped the Company to achieving its Oslo Bors Listing after a further private placement.
He advised on the acquisition of both Leasedrive and Velo by Newco for Lyceum Capital completing in December 2006 and moving from Chairman of Velo to the new Topco. In September 2008 he exited the business along with Lyceum Capital on the disposal to LDC. Bill was Chairman of Asquith Court, a leading UK based childcare provider which was sold in 2007. He was most recently Chairman of IDM Group a Houston and Ukraine based manufacturer of oil rigs and associated equipment.
Bill's current appointments include Executive Chairman of RxT, the world's leading OBC Seismic solutions company and Bridge Energy an E&P Company with substantial assets on the Norwegian Continental shelf. Independent Director of Nimbus Partners, an institutionally backed software provider, and joined the LBO team backed by Lloyds Goup in buying the Adare Group of Companies (including brand name Kalamazoo) in 2007. He has other Directorships and advisory board roles of family related and smaller businesses.
