Construction Director – Central Scotland

An inspiring and experienced Construction Director is sought to lead Stewart Milne Homes’ build programmes on development sites across the Central Belt of Scotland. Reporting to the Managing Director for Stewart Milne Homes Central Scotland, and with offices in Edinburgh and Uddingston, you will be a key member of the Divisional Board, with autonomy and responsibility for developing the strategy to deliver the Group’s ambitious growth targets without compromising customer satisfaction, health and safety, construction programmes and methodology.

The Candidate

We are looking for a talented operational leader to lead and develop the construction capability for the housebuilding division of Stewart Milne Homes Central Scotland.

Knowledge of the house building sector would be essential as well as the ability to:

• Drive operational improvement through modern methods of construction and process development
• Proactively drive cultural and behavioural changes across the business
• Show the strength of interpersonal and teambuilding skills to ensure operational, commercial and contractual delivery in line with build programmes
• Foster a customer centric culture for internal and external markets
