Employee Communications Manager

About the role

Our client is a global, market-leading provider of products and services operating across key industrial markets. Headquartered in central Scotland, the company employs around 20,000 staff internationally.We are looking to appoint an Employee Communications Manager on a fixed term 6 month contract. Reporting to the Head of Engagement, the role will assist with a range of Group employee communications and engagement activities ensuring that everyone across the business is included, informed and can have a positive impact on its success.A key focus of the role will be supporting the Head Engagement with the development and delivery of global employee communications projects and campaigns to ensure relevant audiences understand them and engage with them. This involves drafting and designing copy, visual assets and maintaining communication and project plans as required.

Candidates will ideally have experience in employee communications and an ability to understand organisational priorities and translate those into key messages that will increase employee understanding and engagement. Experience of managing multiple projects, often simultaneously across multiple platforms (online and offline), and of interacting with a wide range of internal stakeholders including senior management, would also be advantageous.
