Finance Director

Signature Pub Group owns and operates an impressive portfolio of 15 pubs, restaurants and hotels throughout the Central Belt. Within its portfolio are The Rutland Hotel and Badger & Co. in Edinburgh, Munros in Glasgow and The West Port in St Andrews.

The group has a strong track record of innovation and investment in the units it acquires and is very proud of its good reputation. With further development and future acquisitions planned, the business is growing.

Signature Pub Group is now of a size, scale and complexity that it requires a commercial Finance Director to join the senior leadership team. The FD will be expected to take a very hands-on role in producing insightful and reliable management information, accurate financial reporting, investment appraisal of various projects and the analysis and advice required to enable sound operational, commercial and strategic decision making. The FD will act as a good sounding board and support to the Managing Director and be extremely involved in all commercial arrangements, contractual negotiations and external relationships.

It is likely that the preferred candidate will currently be operating as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager within the hospitality, leisure, retail or FMCG sectors. Relevant industry experience is strongly preferred but is not a pre-requisite. Some deal experience and integration of a business will also be of interest.

Above all, we will be looking to appoint an aspiring Finance Director, with great enthusiasm and ideas, who will recognise what an exciting opportunity this is and will want to contribute strongly to the future success of the group.
