Head of AI Adoption

Emblation is a highly innovative Scottish medical technology company developing and commercialising advanced microwave-based treatments that improve patient outcomes and transform clinical practice globally.

As Emblation continues to scale internationally, we recognise the significant opportunity that AI presents to enhance productivity, decision-making, customer engagement and business performance. We are seeking a forward-thinking and commercially focused Head of AI Adoption to lead the responsible adoption of AI across the organisation.

This is a newly created role working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, functional leaders and a network of AI Champions across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, prioritising and embedding AI-enabled solutions that drive measurable value.

The role is focused on adoption, change and business impact rather than software engineering or data science. You will act as the catalyst that helps individuals and teams understand where AI can create value, build confidence in its use and ensure successful implementation across the organisation.

• Developing and leading the Emblation AI vision, strategy and roadmap.
• Identifying high-impact opportunities to improve productivity, effectiveness and decision-making through AI.
• Working closely with leaders across Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Commercial, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and People functions.
• Championing AI-enabled change and helping colleagues confidently embrace new technologies.
• Establishing robust governance frameworks to ensure AI is implemented responsibly, securely and ethically.
• Building organisation-wide capability through training, coaching and the development of AI champions.
• Evaluating emerging technologies and supporting investment and implementation decisions.
• Defining success measures and demonstrating the business value generated through AI adoption.
