Broker Insights is a leading provider of data analytics and market insight for the global commercial insurance industry. Their purpose is to empower the commercial insurance industry through data-driven decision-making and with their award-winning platform, which compiles and standardises commercial insurance market data, this enables brokers and insurers to develop new ways of working together.

The opportunity

Having received multiple industry awards, most recently winning both categories they were finalists for at the Insurance Times Awards, it is no wonder that, in 2023, Broker Insights have now launched in the US with a tailored offering. Given their success so far and ambitious growth plans, they are now looking to hire an individual who will help shape, drive and deliver on this.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a robust pipeline to seek out and convert new opportunities with strategic customers, including large brokers and insurers. Given the company’s rapid expansion, the position will be ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset. You will be joining an already great team, therefore the role provides a strong platform from which to help shape the future growth of an exciting and expanding business.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain in-depth understanding of Broker Insights’ product and customer propositions
  • Research new potential customer markets and identify key stakeholders and decision makers in the target organisations within these markets
  • Lead external meetings with new Insurers & Large Brokers, presenting & promoting our proposition (including platform demos) to key stakeholders
  • Facilitating and influencing transformation discussions that enable broader product adoption
  •  Maintain and own a robust pipeline of sales opportunities capable of meeting overall annual sales targets, including the identification and attainment of alternative product markets, and maximising cross-sell opportunities at every opportunity
  • Working closely with Marketing to ensure consistent delivery of key messages and management of market message
  • Ensure smooth handover to the Trading & Strategic Account Management teams upon completion of the onboarding process
  • Adherence to all governance requirements and resolution of all risk and compliance action items within stipulated timeframes

What we need from you

  • Demonstrable network and market recognition within Digital Transformation, with a proven record in digital or technology led and/or large enterprise Sales
  • Ability to apply active listening skills to build into proposition development
  • Excellent stakeholder management and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to rapidly build and maintain product, market, and competitor awareness
  • MBA or equivalent industry experience
