Independently owned Highland Spring is the UK’s largest supplier of bottled water (Zenith 2015 bottled water report) and are proud of its iconic brand and enviable heritage.

The business is at an exciting stage in its development with a clear business strategy for growth aligned to its vision of becoming the UK’s leading independent supplier and advocate of natural sourced waters and other wholesome beverages.

We are recruiting a Head of UK Sales who will have responsibility for leading the team which drives sales of Highland Spring and retailer own brand products across the UK.  The brief will be to:

  • Develop strong, influential relationships at all levels with major retailers
  • Develop successful strategic joint business plans with our retail partners
  • Play a strategic role and be an integral part of the senior management team which is driving the success of the business
  • Demonstrate a passion and knowledge of consumer and shopper behaviour supported by a proven record of building brands and communicating their benefits
  • Demonstrate a high level of business planning and financial acumen as well as exceptional results from successful negotiation within an FMCG environment

This is a fantastic opportunity and we are looking for someone with the type of skills and experience that allows them to hit the ground running, therefore a background in FMCG is essential as is experience of running a sales team and of delivering bottom line impact.

The successful candidate must be prepared to spend a significant amount of time in the business HQ in Perthshire and preferably be based at this location
