The opportunity

Our client, a well-established and prominent public sector body, is seeking immediate HR support and offering an exciting opportunity for an interim HR Business Partner to join their team. In this role, you will lead and support in workforce planning and transformational change, including the development of workforce strategies to address talent needs and skill shortages.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior leaders to optimise the organisation’s structure and workflows, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Additionally, you will spearhead change management initiatives to enhance performance and efficiency during a period of significant transition, including the establishment of a new corporate plan and the transition to a non-departmental public body.

This role also involves providing support to the wider HR function and team and by working closely with the Head of HR, your expertise will be vital in fostering a thriving work environment that supports colleagues and enables them to achieve their full potential while ensuring the organisation’s sustainability.

We are therefore seeking someone with proven experience in workforce planning, change management, and organisational transformation. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills will be critical for success in this multifaceted role.
