The Role

The opportunity has arisen for a new Marketing & Business Development Director (MBD Director) to join the business at a key point in our growth and development.

Reporting to the Managing Partner and Board, the MBD Director will assume the responsibility for the evolution and implementation of a robust and innovative Marketing & Business Development strategy that focuses on key growth sectors including (i) Clean Energy, (ii) Real Estate & Infrastructure and (iii) Technology, whilst retaining presence and focus on the broader markets in which it operates such as Financial Services.

The Marketing & Business Development function comprises several teams including Marketing & Communications (including digital communications), Events Management, Tenders & Bids and Business Development, with the latter team also holding responsibility for managing key accounts within the organisation. The MBD Director will work collaboratively and closely with Partners to promote the business in its respective markets in the most engaging and appropriate manner.

 

Candidate Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Business Development leader who has extensive experience of running Marketing & Business Development teams preferably within professional services sectors.

They will have an in-depth knowledge of all Business Development disciplines with particular experience of running effective CRM, Key Client programmes and motivating business development teams.

Their previous experience will have involved the development of sector specific BD and Marketing strategies, with particular emphasis on the Firms core sectors – Real Estate, Energy or Financial Services.
