FWB are delighted to have partnered with Peoples Automotive Group to advise on the appointment of their new Strategy Director – Lianne Dewar. Peoples Automotive Group is a family owned business, providing award winning customer service and delivering award winning vehicles.  With 300+ employees and a UK-wide presence, they serve the country with new and used cars, vans, MOT services, and aftersales support.

Lianne’s appointment comes at a time of exciting change in the business and in the leadership team, as the Group Finance Director looks to retire.  Lianne will be joining Peoples in a newly created role focussed on driving the strategic direction of the business in its next phase of growth.  The business is committed to investment in technology and further growth and to support this, we led a UK wide search to identify a strategic, dynamic and entrepreneurial individual with a data driven approach to join the Operational Board.  Working very closely with the Managing Director, Lianne will support decision making, offering vital insight and strategic direction to the business.

Lianne in an accountant who trained with KPMG before moving into roles with Innovation Digital, Peter Vardy Group and, most recently, Ledger Bennett, the Global B2B marketing agency, where she was Executive Vice President of Finance.  She brings almost 20 years of strategic and commercial finance experience from private, global organisations.  In her current role, she’s overseen a doubling of EBITDA, led fundraising, due diligence and an eventual shareholder exit in year 1 with the business. She subsequently led the successful financial, legal & operational post-sale integration into a publicly listed, global organisation.
