FWB advises SeeByte on the appointment of Jennifer Urquhart as Chief Operating Officer

FWB Executive Search has supported SeeByte with the appointment of Jennifer Urquhart as Chief Operating Officer, following a UK wide search.

SeeByte, a leading developer of autonomous maritime technology, has appointed Jennifer Urquhart as COO as the business continues to grow its global presence and build on its position at the forefront of autonomous maritime systems and defence technology.

Founded in 2001, SeeByte has established itself as a global leader in software for autonomous maritime systems, operating across the UK and US, with teams in Scotland, Bristol and San Diego. Its technology supports the integration, control and operation of autonomous vehicles in complex environments, with the business working with leading navies, defence organisations and commercial partners internationally.

Jennifer brings significant senior leadership experience within the technology sector and joins SeeByte at an important stage in its development. As Chief Operating Officer, she will work closely with CEO Chris Haworth and the wider leadership team, overseeing key operational functions and supporting the company’s continued growth and delivery to customers around the world.

FWB was retained by SeeByte to identify and appoint an experienced senior leader capable of strengthening the organisation operationally while supporting its ambitious growth plans. The search required a combination of technology-sector leadership experience, operational capability and the ability to operate effectively within a technically sophisticated, internationally focused business.
