Business Development Director

About the role




This newly created role will work with the senior management team to help build the business from start-up, interpreting the founder’s strategic plan and turning this in to a compelling proposition to take to market.  This will be a stand-alone role that is personally responsible for all business development activity, developing partnerships with both public and private sector organisations.

We are looking for an experienced B2B business development professional, with a demonstrable track record of selling within both the public and private sectors.  Experience of setting and driving business development strategy, brand development, and evidence of delivering bottom line impact in both the short and longer term is crucial.  Experience of developing relationships and communicating effectively with CEO’s, Boards and senior management teams across a range of organisations, and an ability to communicate effectively to build consensus and deliver a consultative sales process, is critical.  Experience of working within (or with customers within) a regulated environment would be advantageous, as would evidence of wanting to be part of an organisation that will disrupt and change its respective industry for the better, along with an interest in the charity / not for profit sector.
