Controller/Financial Director – Altamont Energy

Altamont Energy LLC (Altamont) is an exploration and production company backed by private equity investors including the primary investor, Silverpeak, a New York-based private equity firm.  Altamont acquired certain assets in the Uinta Basin from Linn Energy Inc. in April of 2018.  The assets comprise about 36,000 net acres in Utah’s oil-rich Altamont Bluebell Field and includes 116 PDP wells with significant reserves, work-over and development opportunities.

Altamont is led by CEO, Jorge Manrique and his executive team composed of top industry talent with significant experience developing and operating upstream assets across various US basins including the Uinta. The Uinta Basin is a large hydrocarbon producing area with OOIP reservoirs comparable to the Eagle Ford and Bakken. The executive team and the investors believe Altamont is well-positioned to capitalize on this potential through a robust development program supported by their expertise within the basin.

Altamont Energy LLC is seeking a self-directed and experienced Controller/Financial Director to oversee all financial and accounting activities for the company. The Controller/FD will be accountable for budget management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable/receivable and financial reporting as well as be a strategic member of the growing management team.
