Wildland is a 200 year vision of landscape-scale conservation in the Scottish Highlands. Through their custodianship of three significant estates, they work to nature heal grow and thrive.

The role

Wildland is growing, and we now require a dedicated a Finance Director to lead the team and deploy the financial and IT systems that empower the organisation. The Finance Director will have strategic and operational impact and will play a pivotal role in ensuring that that they deliver on our 10 year Vision (the next stepping stone to our 200 year vision) and new Strategy. You will be fundamental to the realisation of their goals, through releasing the potential of their people, harnessing the best processes and tools, whilst ensuring diligence, accountability and ownership across all financial and technological aspects of this growing business.

You will be joining a fairly new leadership team who are all very passionate about the journey, you will provide financial leadership as well as contributing to the organisations strategic decisions.

The successful candidate

A qualified accountant, and experienced strategic Finance leader, you will have previous experience of leading Finance teams to deliver strong and effective service. Previous experience of leading IT is advantageous in this role. You will be an inspirational leader where your success is measured by the wider Wildland team behaviours and performance.

You will have the ability to lead teams and work collaboratively across Wildland and the team at the parent company, Heartland, based in Denmark.
