People & Organisation Development Director

About the role

Established in 2016, the OGTC has been created to become the ‘go to’ world class technology centre for developing, adapting and deploying technology in support to the oil and gas industry. Working through Solution Centres and local Centres of Excellence, the OGTC is committed to not only maximising the economic recovery of the North Sea, but also doubling associated oil and gas supply chain exports over the next ten years. The OGTC focuses on technology that will fix today, unlock potential and transform tomorrow for the net zero future.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the People & Organisation Development Director will be responsible for all strategic & operational aspects of the OGTC’s HR, People, Culture and Organisation delivery programme. This individual will form part of a strong and balanced leadership team, supporting the CEO in the implementation of a clear People & OD strategy. The individual we seek will be a qualified professional, with experience in Cultural Change, Organisational Development & HR Compliance at a senior level. Strong stakeholder management experience is key, as the individual will build critical relationships across the OGTC and external stakeholders.

Candidates should have expertise to enable them to champion:

  1. Cultural development and effective change management
  2. Organisational development including competency and skills development
  3. Effective HR compliance and management of legal requirement around people management
