  • Since its foundation in 1999 Loch Duart has built a reputation for quality of product, sustainable operations and innovation and is a leading trade brand for Scottish farmed salmon.  Alban Denton joins as Managing Director having enjoyed a successful career in the food manufacturing industry, most recently as Strategy and Growth Director for Warburtons
  • Alan Fairweather has joined Scottish Water as Commercial Director, where he will lead the commercial function across business.  He joins following a 14 year career with Black & Veatch where he rose to Commercial Director for its UK Water business
  • Johnstons of Elgin who have been creating the finest woollen and cashmere clothing and accessories since 1797, have appointed Marty Wikstrom as a Non Executive Director.  She was previously a CEO within the fashion house Richemont and MD of both Harrods and the US retailer Nordstrom
  • Jim Hepburn is the new Financial Director of Dawnfresh, the major supplier of fresh and frozen fish.  He joins from Premier Foods and is formerly of Baxters Food Group and Scottish & Newcastle
  • Kelvin KBB, a leading UK manufacturer of kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms has appointed Ron Easton as their new Managing Director.  Ron was formerly MD of Smith & McLaurin
  • Whyte & Mackay whose brands include Dalmore, Jura, Vladivar and Glayva has appointed Michael Sloan, formerly of AG Barr plc, to the role of Finance Director
  • Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank has appointed Scott Munro, formerly of Lloyds Banking Group, into the new role of Strategy Execution Director
  • Baxters Food Group has appointed Julia Wiechers into the role of UK Finance Director.  Julia joins from Warburtons where she was Head of Commercial Finance
  • Tony Short has joined Safetykleen Europe as UK Managing Director to lead the largest division of this global, private equity backed business, based in London.  He joins from Sales Director EMEA & APAC for Fluke Automation, having previously worked for GE, Shell and Ciba
  • Mark Thurston has joined Endava, a leading European IT Services business, as Chief Financial Officer, based at the global HQ in London.  He was previously CFO of the private equity backed businesses Paragon and esg
  • Paddy Crerar has been appointed to the board of Archerfield Estates Ltd as a Non Executive Director.  Paddy is the CEO of Crerar Hotels as well as being the Chairman of the Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT Scotland) and Easy-breaks.com. He also sits on the boards of VisitScotland and Highland & Islands Enterprise
  • Michael O’Sullivan, formerly of Wood Group, has joined Enovate, the global engineering and product provider to the worldwide energy sector as Technical Director
  • ICR is an international, PE-backed integrity and maintenance group of companies in the energy and other industry sectors.  Graham McCall has been appointed as CFO
  • Ernie Lamza is the new COO at OGIC (Oil & Gas Innovation Centre) having joined from SBM Offshore in Monaco
  • Donald Forsyth has joined EY in Inverness as a Partner.  He moves from Edinburgh after a successful career with Scott Moncrieff
  • Walkers Shortbread, one of Scotland’s most iconic businesses, is delighted to announce that Jill Armitt, previously Head of HR at Clintons in Essex will join them as their Head of HR at their HQ in Aberlour
  • Star Refrigeration, the UK’s No 1 industrial heating and cooling engineering company has appointed Gordon Kerr, formerly of MB Aerospace, as Group Corporate Services Director
  • Lux Assure specialises in effective assurance technologies for the Oil & Gas Industry and has appointed Duncan Baillie, formerly of Roemex, as Business Development Manager
  • Rachel Keys joins Edinburgh Airport as Head of Commercialisation,  She was formerly from PwC in Edinburgh where she was a Director in the Corporate Finance team and brings a wealth of experience in advising the public and private sector on financial aspects of large scale infrastructure developments
  • Christine Schofield formerly of Lloyds Banking Group has joined Standard Life Group as Senior HR Business Partner
  • Smith Anderson has been manufacturing in Scotland since 1859 and produces over 50 million paper bags every week, supplying market leading Quick Service Restaurants (including McDonald’s and Burger King).  Olivia Slater joins as Sales Director from Graham’s Dairy where she was Account Controller
  • Pat Kennedy has joined Argent Energy from William Grant & Sons where he was Continuous Improvement Manager, Global Packaging.  Argent Energy operates in the international energy sector and is poised for significant growth in the UK as well as internationally.  They are the UKs leading waste-to-energy biodiesel and is owned by John Swire & Sons
  • Mark Sullivan has joined Aggreko as Customer Services Manager, a global role within the IT Headquarters in Glasgow.  He joins from Atos and previously worked for Wipro and SAIC
  • Jill Weir has joined the HR team at KCA Deutag and returns from Oceaneering International LLC in Dubai where she was HR Director
  • The family owned construction and waste services business, NWH Group, based in Dalkeith, has appointed Lynne Higgins formerly of Murray International Group as their new Finance Director
  • Attila Mile joins Macfarlan Smith as Operations Director.  Founded in 1815 and part of Johnson Matthey PLC, Macfarlan Smith has almost 200 years of expertise in natural product extractions and chemical synthesis, specialising in opiate narcotics such as codeine and morphine.  He joins from Xellia Pharmaceuticals (a Novo Nordisk company) where he was General Manager for Hungary based in Budapest
  • Mark Currie has joined the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland as Operations Manager, from DF Concerts
  • The Edrington Group, producers of fine brands such as The Famous Grouse, Macallan and Highland Park, has appointed Paul McGovern from Heineken as Senior HR Business Partner
  • Baillie Gifford have made three new appointments into its Client Service team.  They are Ben James, Paul Stevenson and Sean Cox.  Each brings considerable experience from very different backgrounds, coming from the fields of military, commercial flying and professional rugby respectively
