HR Brands Lunch at AG Barr HQ

On Tuesday, 14th November, FWB was delighted to co-host a 'HR Brands Lunch' event at AG Barr HQ in Cumbernauld. We gathered as a group of HR leaders from across the Scottish consumer sector to discuss the journey that the AG Barr team have undertaken regarding their People Strategy.
After a tour of the impressive shop floor where the famous brands are bottled and stored for distribution across the UK, we enjoyed lunch with a large cohort of the wider HR team, who shared their passion for the journey they are on. Following lunch, Lucy Henderson, Marketing Director, led a Brand session, which was followed by a walkthrough of their HR strategy presented by Alison Gowen, HR Director.
Their 'Best Barr None' approach focuses on a colleague experience in a moments that matter strategy to ensure all colleagues feel connected, committed, and valued in their careers at AG Barr. The session concluded with a round-table discussion on some topical HR challenges.
