Clara Nelson Strachan is Head of Talent Attraction & Research at FWB where she is responsible for leading the Research Team and advises clients on executive and non-executive appointments across the public, private and third sectors. Her work spans Board, Chief Executive, Chair and senior leadership appointments nationally and internationally, with particular expertise in the third sector and purpose-led organisations.

Prior to joining FWB, Clara spent eight years with a London-based international executive search firm, where she held roles in research, research leadership and global operations, including serving as Head of Initiatives and Compliance.

Earlier in her career, Clara completed an internship with the European External Action Service in Brussels and worked in institutional fundraising for one of Argentina’s leading think tanks. Clara holds a BA (first class) in History from the University of Leeds and an MA in International Relations from the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, Buenos Aires.
