Laura joined FWB Park Brown in 2023. She graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Events Management from Robert Gordon University in 2017 and moved to London where she became the Senior Event Manager for the British Council, the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities.

During her time at the British Council, Laura led numerous high-profile events and initiatives, including the celebrated opening week events at the Venice Biennale for the British Pavilion and the development of the British Council’s engagement strategy for COP26 in Glasgow. Her experience extends from orchestrating global art showcases to spearheading impactful climate action campaigns.

Following her tenure with the British Council, Laura played a pivotal role as Campaign Manager at Social Bite, where she led the delivery of their national Christmas campaign. The campaign raised over £2 million for Social Bite. Laura coordinated over 170 volunteers and staff across the 4-week campaign, which partnered with 96 charity partners to distribute more than 400,000 meals, gifts and essential items for people experiencing homelessness over the winter season.

Laura’s extensive experience includes working closely with high-level VIP stakeholders, ranging from members of the royal household, celebrities, politicians, and members of international governments. Laura has won industry awards such as ‘Best International Event’ at the International Corporate Event Awards, earning recognition as one of the top event professionals under 30 in 2019, and holds a formal Project Management qualification.
