Laura joined FWB in 2023 and leads the firm’s events and programmes, as well as FWB’s brand strategy, digital marketing, and creative design. With a First-Class Honours degree in Events Management from Robert Gordon University, Laura began her career in London as Senior Event Manager at the British Council, the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities.

Before joining FWB, Laura held senior roles at the British Council and Social Bite, where she led high-profile international events and national campaigns. Her work included delivering the British Pavilion’s opening week at the Venice Biennale, shaping the British Council’s COP26 engagement strategy, and managing a £2 million Christmas campaign supporting people experiencing homelessness.

Laura has worked with a wide range of high-level stakeholders, including members of the royal household, celebrities, politicians, and international government representatives.

As part of her role, Laura works closely with FWB’s strategic networks and partners, including the Scottish HR Leadership Group, Scottish Finance Leaders Network, Scottish CFO Awards, and Scottish Ballet. She also delivers FWB’s annual executive education programmes in partnership with the University of Edinburgh Business School.
